- Tommy Robinson’s behaviour, both in Dubai and previously in Ayia Napa, consistently reveals him as a coward.
- His Islamophobic rhetoric is incredibly dangerous but also performative, aimed at online audiences rather than real-world confrontations.
Remember last year when Tel Aviv Steve, Tommy- the- Chav- Robinson (whatever name takes your fancy this morning), had multiple paparazzi photos taken from his Ayia Napa war room. He was either floating like a soil sample in the pool, or splayed out on a four-poster sunlounger glued to his phone, all while inciting race riots in the U.K.
And what did we learn then? That Robinson is a coward.
What did yesterday’s interaction with Ty Mitchell confirm? That Robinson is a coward.
During his interaction with Mitchell at the Misfits event in Dubai, Robinson was called a racist rat, in addition to every name under the sun, and was even nudged like a ragdoll; Tommy did or said hardly anything in retaliation. That is until Mitchell walked away and was no longer in close proximity to him. Then all of a sudden, Robinson found his voice, responding to the profanities, with one that was telling of his own state rather than anyone else’s.
“You hate Muslims so why are you in a Muslim country for?
During the viral exchange, Robinson was utterly humiliated, his bluster collapsing into visible fear. Mitchell had repeatedly asked,“You hate Muslims so why are you in a Muslim country for?” Robinson’s only feeble response to this question was that he had Muslims friends. However, the only “Muslim friends” we’ve seen of his have been ex-Muslim Islamophobes or the likes of Tate (more on that later).
When asked about who he would fight if he were in Misfits…
After Mitchell (a professional boxer and a convert to Islam) walked away from Robinson, Tommy tried his very best to continue with the interview. The interviewer (who was clearly of the far-right persuasion: referring to the raging anti-Muslim, fear mongering Islamophobe as ‘Mr,’ asked him, if he were in Misfits, who would he fight? Robinson replied, “I would’ve fought him (Ty Mitchell) if he weren’t a professional boxer, you know what I mean.” He said giggling. I mean, these are hardly the words of a patriot hero.
And herein lies the crux of the matter; Robinson is merely a warrior of Twitter timelines. He repeatedly displays a remarkable talent of running his mouth off to people who do not stand up to him with strength.
Paul Golding Attempts to Defend Robinson
Since yesterday, X, which has now become a far-right sewer, has been ignited by a rather pathetic attempt from this faction to defend Robinson. Golding’s attempt was perhaps the most amusing:

I wonder if Golding forgot about this little mishap that took place in Luton:
Mitchell’s gayrah for Islam
Since the video went viral, Mitchell responded to what happened, he explained,
“I couldn’t understand why this man was walking around (in Dubai) and no one was saying anything to him.”
Mitchell displayed unwavering ghayrah for Islam, firmly challenging Robinson’s antics and exposing him for his rampant Islamophobia and repugnant anti-Muslim narrative. Gayrah refers to a kind of protectiveness or concern over our faith and honour.
Mitchell questioned the rhetoric Robinson frequently relies upon, “Is your free speech only for Muslims,” demanding him to confront the truth. In doing so, Mitchell defended not just Muslims, but the principle that bigotry should not pass unchallenged.
Who invited Robinson to Dubai?
Despite Robinson’s claim that he was invited by some Emiratis, many have suggested online that he was invited by Andrew Tate. Interesting to note, Tate assumed the role of CEO of Misfits from KSI in October of this year.

Tate’s recent rhetoric has been widely condemned for being repugnant and inflammatory, including statements that have incited violence and racial divisions in the U.K.
Tommy Robinson and Andrew Tate’s origins lie in Luton. Robinson has claimed to know Tate before they both attained fame.
Muslims are unhappy about Robinson being in Dubai

Tommy’s Rampant Islamophobia

In addition to the vile posts on X, the far-right extremist leads many protests on the streets of London. Robinson promotes xenophobia, anti-Muslimness and Islamophobia. These protests have involved Islamophobic chanting, racist rhetoric, and hateful attacks on Islam and everything which is revered to two billion Muslims globally.
At these events, Robinson’s supporters have been filmed chanting, “Allah, Allah, who the f**k is Allah.”
Robinson has also platformed congressional candidate Valentina Gomez, who repeatedly referred to Muslims as “dirty Muslims” on a recent episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored and filmed herself burning the Qur’an.
UAE Blasphemy
Laws
The UAE enforces strict blasphemy and anti-discrimination laws under its penal code, criminalising insults to God, religions, Prophets, holy books, or sacred sites. Penalties can include imprisonment, often for a minimum of one year, substantial fines, and, for non-citizens, deportation. These laws also prohibit expressing views contrary to Islam or denigrating recognised religions, with enforcement extending to social media and other online content.
