Trump has consistently denounced abortion—claiming a reinforced biblically based definition of marriage & family through comprehensive policy measures.

However, Trump’s support of Israel’s genocidal actions and proposals to assume control over Gaza have endorsed the brutal killing of 2,100 Palestinian babies.

“Democrats are aggressively pushing late-term abortion allowing children to be ripped from their mother’s womb, right up until the moment of birth. The baby is born and you wrap the baby beautifully and you talk to the mother about the possible execution of the baby”, Donald Trump said at rally in Panama City Beach, Florida in 2019.

In 2024, it was understood that, as part of Project 2025— a 922-page policy plan organised by the right-wing Heritage Foundation—Trump would withdraw the abortion pill mifepristone from the market and halt its distribution by mail. The document proposes new data collection efforts on abortion and more generally suggests that the department of Health and Human Services should “maintain a biblically based, social science-reinforced definition of marriage and family”. It includes strategies for implementing policies, such as the creation of a database of conservative loyalists to fill government positions, and a programme to train those new workers.

In August 2024, Euro-Med Monitor reported that Israel killed 2,100 Palestinian infants and toddlers in Gaza. “The number of Palestinian children—whether infants or children in general—killed by the Israeli army is horrifying, and the rate of their killing is unprecedented in the history of modern wars”, the report reads.

In December 2024, we read how Gazan babies were freezing to death.

Trump’s policies reveal not merely a callous indifference, but an active endorsement of measures that result in the brutal killing of innocent babies in Gaza. While he staunchly proclaims his anti-abortion stance on American soil—defending the sanctity of unborn life—his support for aggressive military actions and proposals that facilitate the U.S. takeover of Gaza effectively condones, if not directly champions, the systematic elimination of Gaza’s most vulnerable. This flagrant double standard exposes a disturbing hypocrisy: domestically, he vows to protect life, yet his actions on the international stage contribute to a humanitarian catastrophe where babies are mercilessly killed.
