In the wake of pro-Palestinian activists’ storming an airport in Dagestan, Russia, to protest an incoming plane from Tel Aviv, Brother Dilly issued a tweet that later would be maliciously manipulated. He expressed on X:
“This is the kind of welcome ALL Israelis should be receiving at the airports of Muslim-majority countries.”
It is imperative to highlight that his response was in direct reaction to the initial footage, which portrayed a peaceful display of flags and protest. At this particular juncture, there was no indication of any violent or antagonistic behaviour towards the arriving passengers. Only later did it transpire that the situation had escalated to confrontations. Furthermore, it is crucial to underline that Islamic principles strictly prohibit the harming of innocent civilians, as stated by Hussain in a written and video response to what is evidently an absurd and baseless character assassination attempt.
