  • Global pro-Palestinian demonstrations demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, expressing grave concerns about civilian casualties and Palestinian suffering.
  • Demonstrators in the U.S., U.K., and France criticized their governments for supporting Israel, while the Palestinian death toll reached 9,448, leading to U.S. protesters condemning President Joe Biden’s stance.

From the streets of Washington to Milan, and all the way to Paris, a multitude of pro-Palestinian demonstrators took to the march this Saturday, united in their call for an immediate ceasefire of Israel’s intense bombardment campaign in Gaza.

These rallies bore witness to the escalating unease and mounting civilian casualties, coupled with the distress endured by the Palestinian people.

In the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, protesters voiced their disillusionment with their respective governments for their perceived support of Israel, even as the Israeli bombardment targeted hospitals and residential zones within the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian death toll now stands at a staggering 9,448, as reported by the Health Ministry in Gaza.

On American soil, thousands congregated in the nation’s capital to voice their dissent against the Biden administration’s backing of Israel and its relentless military operations in Gaza. The crowd, draped in black and white keffiyehs, chanted fervently, ‘Palestine will be free,’ as they unfurled an expansive Palestinian flag along Pennsylvania Avenue, the thoroughfare leading to the White House.

Directly confronting President Joe Biden’s stance, Renad Dayem of Cleveland conveyed her motive for making the journey with her family, stating, ‘We want our children to understand the resilience of the Palestinian people and to see that we yearn for a leader who will not be subservient to the Israeli government.'”
