This article presents a comparison between Sky News’s initial reporting on the ‘Maccabi Tel Aviv incident’ in Amsterdam and their subsequent removal of this footage, which was later replaced with a narrative centred on ‘anti-Semitism.’

It also highlights the manipulative and fallacious reporting of mainstream media news outlets.

As I’m sure you’ve probably already seen, on the evening of the Ajax v Maccabi Tel Aviv football match (Europa League), Israeli fans started shouting anti-Arab slogans, taking down Palestine flags, attacking a Muslim taxi driver and Muslim homes, whistling and cheering during the one-minute silence commemorating the Spanish flood victims inside the football stadium. However, when the Moroccan brothers, the pro-Palestine bunch began responding, the same antagonisers began dithering. It’s like one of the Moroccan footballer’s Hakim Ziyech said:

And what did the mainstream Media do?

Well, they ran with what they are most familiar with: the “anti-semitism” boring slogan that we are quite frankly tired of hearing anytime there is criticism of Zionism and of Israel. It’s as if they were given one sheet to read from: “Tell the masses that anti-semistim is in thy progress”. And the mainstream media said, “Yes sir!,” and that’s exactly what happened.

Let me draw your attention to something that has been added to this narrative, Sky News was amongst those who peddled this whole anti-semitism false news. However, we have now unearthed what really happened. Furthermore, it’s been spread all over Twitter! The original clip was up and then they got the phone call, “Hello…” and so then Sky News had to remove it. Here’s what they had in their original reporting, compared to what they uploaded later.

You can clearly see how they’ve gone for this whole anti-semitism narrative. And now let’s have a listen of how they really felt and how the footage would’ve gone based on real journalism.

This is what proper journalism is supposed to sound like.

The Amsterdam police also confirmed that it was indeed the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans who had instigated all the trouble:

And that’s not all, a child’s report has been going viral because he was there when the Israelis started blowing their fuse and he was even threatened by them but he continued with his reporting.

We saw Wall Street Journal, we saw BBC News, we saw Fox News and the likes, all peddling the same thing.

What this should teach us as that we should be teaching our kids, our kin, our folk all about the manipulation of the mainstream media.

Let’s have a look at how Reuters reported the incident:

As we can see, the word “slogan” is used for describing the anti-Arab hate. This word slogan represents something cheerful, like the McDonald’s slogan, “I’m lovin it!.” However, when writing about the Israelis, the word “slur” is used. The word slur is associated with something derogative, something that could even be a criminal offence.

The spin of the mainstream media isn’t something that we can avoid. However, we need to have our antennas up so that we can notice these sorts of manipulative and fallacious reporting. It’s important that we teach this to our kids, as our kids are inevitably going to have to grow up in this society and listen to these media outlets who clearly seem to be peddling the Zionist agenda.
