During a television interview in Israel, Knesset member Almog Cohen was queried about whether Israel should await instructions from Biden before launching an assault on Rafah. His response was as follows:
“Yes, while they are fasting, they are exhausted without any strength. We must break their bones…Ramadan is the best time to kill them!”
Interestingly, prior to October 7th, in January 2023, Cohen took to Twitter to jubilantly commemorate Israel’s actions in Jenin, where Palestinians were killed.
His post was subsequently taken down by X (Twitter at the time).
Almog Cohen holds a position as a legislator in Israel, embodying the prevailing ethos and principles of the Israeli Knesset.
