  • Police seek the masked assailant who targets and sexually assaults Muslim women on London buses.
  • Incidents occur mainly in the West London area, with connections to specific bus stops. Detective Sergeant Matthew Brown reassures the community of ongoing efforts to identify the offender.

The Metropolitan Police have released photographs of a veiled individual whom they seek to identify, following a series of egregious incidents wherein over ten Muslim women were subjected to acts of sexual assault while aboard buses commuting around West London.

Scotland Yard, the metropolitan police service, has disclosed that the alleged perpetrator singles out Muslim women as his targets, deliberately taking a seat adjacent to them on the bus before proceeding to engage in acts of sexual aggression. Notably, the assailant maintains a vow of silence both before and after committing these reprehensible offenses. In two images unveiled on Thursday, the man in question gazes directly into the camera, with the authorities earnestly hoping that the discerning public may be able to identify him through his distinctive attire.

These disconcerting incidents have predominantly transpired during the late afternoons and evenings within the extensive bus network encompassing the vicinities of Ealing, Hammersmith, Westminster, and Hounslow.

Notably, in a significant number of cases, either the suspected perpetrator or the victim has boarded the bus at Westfield Shepherds Bush, Ealing Broadway, or Acton High Street.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Brown has expressed,  “We are aware of social media posts regarding this individual and appreciate the concern that these incidents will cause. We would like to assure the community that we are doing all that we can to identify and locate the suspect.

“While his face is covered in the images, we are hoping that anyone who knows him will recognise him or his clothing and get in touch.

“Similarly, if you believe that you may have been targeted by this man, but have not yet spoken with police, please do get in touch – at the very least so that we can know that you are okay and are being supported.”
