Israel has resorted to desperate tactics, exemplified by an absurd letter sent to the Qatari Emir’s mother from Sara Netanyahu.

This represents a feeble endeavour to rationalise its actions.

The wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote to Sheikha Moza bint Nasser al-Missned, the mother of the Qatari emir, requesting assistance in securing the release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

“I urge you, in the spirit of Ramadan, to leverage your significant influence to work towards the release of the Israeli hostages.”

“Woman to woman, it’s imperative to address that among the hostages, 19 women are enduring unimaginable hardships,” the letter said.

I would like to preface this with the following: I am uncertain if it is appropriate to characterise any Zionists as women, as women are universally recognised for their compassion and nurturing qualities. Similarly, the term “human” may not align with the actions and beliefs associated with Zionism.

It is clear that Israel recognises its failure in the propaganda arena. With mounting evidence of war crimes and shifting public opinion in favour of Palestine, Israel has resorted to desperate tactics, exemplified by this preposterous letter, in an attempt to justify its actions. However, despite increasing global awareness of their deceitful and abhorrent practices, Israel persists in perpetrating its genocide.
