● Malaysia, a long-time supporter of Palestine, follows the steps of Yemen and bans Israeli ships from its ports with immediate effect
● Saudi Arabia puts a $5M bounty on Yahya Saree, Spokesperson of the Houthi Yemeni Armed Forces
Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia stands with Palestine and is not shy to demonstrate his support! He recently reiterated the independence of his country in response to American pressure over the war in Palestine, and its infallible support to the Palestinian people “yesterday, today and tomorrow insha Allah” as he stated in a public meeting.
60% of Malaysian citizens are Muslims and democratic relationships with Israel are non-existent.
Inspired by the Houthi action in the Red Sea, Malaysia announced on Dec 20th, that it had banned any ships bearing the Israeli flags from docking in any of its ports, with immediate effect.
This decision was made only days after Joe Biden announced the creation of a security force against the Houthi rebels in the Red Sea. On December 18th, The USA declared that 10 nations had joined in securing the region against the Houthi rebels who are targeting all cargos linked to the Zionist entity.
The coalition led by the US, comprises of the UK, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles, and Spain.
The Houthi actions have significantly disrupted global shipping routes in the region and major maritime companies were forced to pause their activities in the Red Sea.
The Israeli company Zim, which has been using Malaysian ports since 2002, was blocked from anchoring its ships at any port in the country. Any cargo destined for Israel is also targeted by the ban.
The Malaysian Prime minister explained that these sanctions had been taken over the Gaza Genocide by Israel and its complete disregard for international law. He denounced the “cruelty” of Israel and its lack of “basic humanitarian principles”.
Malaysia has ties with Hamas and considers that it has been democratically elected and is therefore legitimate. Anwar Ibrahim declared that it was open to working with Hamas towards finding a solution to the current humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The decision was taken despite the pressure of the USA, which is the third trade partner of Malaysia.
Anwar Ibrahim said that the sanctions will not have any effect on Malaysia’s economy.
The local population feels very strongly about the Palestinian cause and Malaysia may influence other nations to follow in its steps.
Public opinion in the West has also become very divided over Israel and the support towards the Palestinian civilians is becoming stronger every day. This is a drastic change in the way the Zionist entity and its legitimacy have been perceived by Westerners since its creation.
Saudi Arabia, whose population is overwhelmingly pro-Palestinian, has sided with the US government in the matter and put a bounty of $5 Million for any information leading to the capture of Yahya Saree, the spokesperson of the Houthi Yemeni Armed Forces.
Yahya Saree announced on December 19th that naval missiles had intercepted 2 container ships destined for Israel: the MSC Alanya and the MSC Palatium III.
The Man who announces every sea attack by the Houthi rebels already survived an assassination attempt.
Yahya Saree who holds a master’s degree in political science has been the face of the Houthi Armed Forces. In 2017, he was a colonel at the head of the Psychological Warfare Unit. In 2018, he became the spokesperson of the Houthi Army.
He has also authored a book entitled “A Revolution Behind Bars”.
We are curious to see if Saudi Arabia will also put a bounty on Benyamin Netanyahu for his crimes against humanity and how much it will be for.
