In a troubling incident from the Ghaziabad, India, a household helper was allegedly caught on hidden camera contaminating her employer’s food with urine. The shocking discovery emerged after a businessman, concerned by his family’s deteriorating health, discreetly installed a camera in the kitchen.
Hidden Camera Uncovers Alarming Behavior
According to reports, the businessman’s family had been grappling with unexplained liver issues for several days. Despite seeking medical treatment, their health showed no signs of improvement, prompting him to investigate further. Footage recorded on Monday reportedly shows the maid, identified as Reena Devi from Shanti Nagar, urinating into cooking vessels and subsequently using the tainted water to prepare meals for the household.
Action Taken
Upon discovering the distressing footage, the businessman immediately lodged a complaint with local authorities, demanding prompt action against the accused. Police quickly apprehended Devi on Monday night. During questioning, she initially denied the allegations but reportedly fell silent when shown the video evidence. A formal case has been registered against her, based on a complaint from the businessman’s wife.
Family in Shock
The businessman expressed his disbelief, noting that he had never suspected Devi, who had been a trusted member of their household for eight years. He recounted a previous theft incident but mentioned that he had continued to place his trust in her. This recent incident, however, has left him and his family deeply shaken.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Lipi Nagayach confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. Although Devi has denied the allegations, authorities are working to determine the full scope of the situation.
