  • iERA launched a Tawhid campaign in London, installing billboards in prominent locations and deploying numerous duat to disseminate the message of Islam.
  • The campaign focused on monotheism, emphasising its centrality to Islam and the necessity of acknowledging the oneness of God.

The propagation of Islam has notably accelerated in the wake of the events in Gaza.

In response to widespread interest in Islam piqued by the horrific onslaught in the Middle East and the steadfast faith of Palestinians, Islamic Education Research (iERA) has initiated a campaign on Tawhid (Monotheism) in Central London.

This initiative entailed installing billboards in prominent locations, including Bond Street tube station in Central London and streets in the city, adorned with captions such as ‘Your God is one God.’ Additionally, street dawah activities were conducted, and the distribution of 30 thousand Qur’ans to the general public.

Prominent duat, including Shaikh Abdurraheem Green and Yusuf Chambers were deployed across the capital to eloquently and compassionately disseminate the message of Islam.

The campaign sparked the interest of numerous Londoners in Islam, with some even embracing the faith, Alhumdulillah.

Co-founder of iERA Saqib Sattar had this to say regarding the initiative:

“We are here to launch the ‘Discover the Quran’ campaign. In the last few months, we’ve seen an unprecedented interest in Islam amongst non-Muslims. In particular understanding and discovering the Quran. This is what people want to do in light of the horrific situation in Gaza so what we’ve done is launched this campaign across key sites in London- a Billboard campaign, unprecedented because we wanted to give access to people to discover the Quran for people who are interested in Islam who haven’t had the opportunity to access it in this point in time”.

Why did iERA opt to propagate this specific message?

The rationale lies in the centrality of monotheism in Islam, which distinguishes Islam from other faiths. Indeed, one cannot profess Islam without affirming the oneness of God.

In a recent shift at iERA, public speaker, Islamic polemicist and writer, Subboor Ahmad has assumed the position of CEO.

The organisation’s website statement articulates its mission:

iERA is dedicated to advancing the Prophetic Mission – compassionately and intelligently sharing Islam with the world. Founded in 2010, we aim to achieve this by empowering individuals through our support, development and empowerment to become ambassadors of Islam.
