Three Israel Defense Forces soldiers suffered moderate injuries when a booby-trapped tunnel they uncovered in the eastern Rafah area of the Gaza Strip exploded, as announced by the army on Thursday night.

The injured soldiers were evacuated and received medical care at an Israeli hospital, with their families notified accordingly.

Additionally, on Thursday, the military reported that an “unidentified aerial object” originating from the Strip entered Israeli airspace before landing in an open area. No damage or casualties were reported.
