The Jordanluca jeans, debuted on the fall/winter 2023 runway at Milan Fashion Week. They sport a prominent dark stain in the inguinal area, prompting observers to liken it to the appearance of a person urinating on themselves by accident.
With the price tag of $811, the denim from the British-Italian menswear label has sold out online. They’re regular pair of Jeans are currently available at a discounted price of $608.
The jeans have garnered the moniker “pee stain denim” amidst online criticism.
“So f–king stupid,” responded one social media user.
“You ain’t cool unless you pee your pants,” asserted another.
”Are they trying to make us lose our dignity?” said another individual.
“Why would anyone wear this?” another voice contributed to the discussion.
The Fashion brand was established in 2018 by Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto.
Earlier this year, Vogue Business reported that sales of Jordanluca surged by 15% from 2022 to 2023, exceeding $500,000, as the brand gains popularity on international vendor platforms such as Farfetch, Modesens, and Machine-A.
“I believe that the brand is going to be extremely popular in the coming seasons, establishing it as one of the key fashion players on an international level,” said Stavros Karelis, the founder and buying director for Machine-A, told Vogue.
