Yesterday, 5,000 FLA thugs took to the streets of London to shout abhorrently Islamophobic chants, such as, “Who the f*** is Allah” and “We want our country back.” Among the marchers were Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox, who carried a banner reading “This is London, not Londonistan.” Israeli flags were also visible in the crowd.
The event included a screening of Robinson’s documentary “Lawfare,” which argues there is a two-tier policing system in the UK.
After the march, Fox’s car was involved in a collision with a bus. Fox claimed the bus “rammed into us,” although video footage showed a man, believed to be the bus driver, arguing that Fox’s car was in a cycle lane.
London’s Metropolitan Police deployed around 2,000 officers to manage both the march and the Champions League final. The police expressed gratitude that protest organisers had discouraged violence but were concerned about past violent incidents involving participants and comments that could incite fear and threaten the safety of the Muslim community. They stated, “All Londoners have a right to feel safe and be safe in their city, and we will take a zero-tolerance approach to any racially or religiously motivated hate crime we become aware of.”
