• During a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Murray challenged comedian Dave Smith’s right to speak about Palestine, dismissing him as unqualified.
• Smith countered brilliantly, pointing out the absurdity of Murray’s arguments on Palestine.
Most of you, I’m sure, will be familiar with Geert Wilders. Well, we’ve got our own Poundland version in the UK, who goes by the name of Douglas Murray. Don’t be deceived by the posh accent. Moreover, this man is a monster—an advocate for genocide, devoid of any moral compass.
When Murray first opened his mouth on the recent episode of the Joe Rogan experience— the number one podcast in the world—let’s just say, it would’ve be been better for him if he hadn’t.
Murray questioned Rogan about why he hadn’t invited enough pro-Palestine guests on his show. This of course, is a completely fallacious assertion and well, you know where I’m going with this: Rogan hosted President—blood on his hands—Trump in November 2024, amassing 57 million views on his show. He also hosted another prestigious member of the—over 50’s white boys who are trying to run the world—club—Elon Musk. Rogan replied to the question, “I mean, I’ve had Gad Saad on”, “Mike Baker”, Smith stated, interjecting.
Sky News in its coverage of the story, of course, remains unchallenged in the realm of winning headlines and credible journalism. But why did Murray go there? I presume he was attempting to manipulate Rogan.
As the episode progressed, Murray brazenly asked comedian Dave Smith, “Have you ever been to the checkpoints”. “When was the last time you were in Israel?”, he asked—bravely venturing where common sense hadn’t. Murray’s line of questioning was directed at Smith with the narrative that a person who hasn’t experienced a place first-hand is unqualified to talk about what occurs there.
I’d like to entertain Murray’s question if I may, despite it not being directed towards me: “There was truth and there was untruth, and if you clung to the truth even against the whole world, you were not mad”, wrote George Orwell in 1984.
I’ve been to the checkpoints a few times now, and I can tell anyone who hasn’t without hesitation, that doing so will only make you stand up against Zionism even more. When visiting Bayt al-Maqdis, you will encounter the deplorable treatment of the IDF first-hand, but as a visitor, not as a Palestinian—forging a deeper sense of respect for our noble Palestinian brothers and sisters. You will experience only an iota of the ramifications of the racist apartheid Israeli regime that our Palestinian family do.
Murray ignored the fact that even journalists are prohibited from entering the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, his own trip to Gaza was embedded and facilitated by the very people who are committing the ongoing genocide.
“Have you ever been to Nazi Germany”, Smith masterfully quipped in response to Rogan’s question.
When history books are written about the blood thirsty Palestinian genocide, those books will stay with future generations long after the final page has been turned. Surely, Murray doesn’t question the occurrence of the Holocaust in Nazi Germany, despite only reading about it in books and lacking a time machine to visit the gas chambers firsthand.
Free Speech warrior Murray continued to assert that Dave Smith was not entitled to give his opinion on the matter, as he is a comedian. At which point, Rogan intervened and contested that he was absolutely entitled to give his opinion, no matter who he is.
In the clip below, we witness Smith in action, expertly deconstructing Murray’s repugnant, manipulative and false narrative surrounding the situation in Palestine.
It is worth noting that the Joe Rogan Experience podcast is sponsored by ExpressVPN, which is owned by Kape Technologies. Kape was founded by Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi, who has made substantial financial contributions, including a $3 million donation to Israeli soldiers and a quarter of a million dollars to support the transportation of Israeli military forces in Gaza. It will be interesting to see the trajectory of the podcast if Rogan continues to host pro-Palestinian guests who completely intellectually annihilate the narrative of Zionists with effortless ease.
Since March 18th, at least 1,563 Palestinians have been killed since Israel resumed their murderous rampage on the Gaza Strip and broke their ceasefire deal with Hamas. As proclaimed by many legal authorities and on-the-ground charities: this is a war on children.
