Britain is set to deploy a significant military show of support to Israel, with plans to dispatch two Navy ships to the Eastern Mediterranean and have Royal Air Force surveillance planes monitor Israel. “The military package includes P8 aircraft, surveillance assets, two Royal Navy ships – Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessels Lyme Bay and Argus – three Merlin helicopters and a company of Royal Marines,” Downing Street said.
