A Deconstruction of The Ahmadi “Khilafah’s” Position on the Plight of the Palestinians

The Qadiyani movement’s Khilafah ‘Mirza Masroor Ahmad’ raises significant questions, particularly in relation to his stance on Palestine.

I extend an invitation to Ahmadis to embrace Islam.

In my diligent search through hours of ‘Hazoor’ content for you, my dear readers, I have found myself navigating through a labyrinth of perplexing material.

The Ahmadiyya YouTube channel, MTA News, proudly features segments such as “This Week with Hazoor,” where questions about Palestine often elicit a recurring response, “We can’t act until the 54 Muslim countries unite and do something.” One wonders, what manner of Khilafat this is? Particularly when leaders are known to initiate wars, take decisive action, and implement dramatic changes!

A zealous young attendee once explained his attendance at a recent session as a quest to experience Khilafat. Yet, the apparent lack of authoritative action from the Ahmadi “Khalifah” Mirza Masroor Ahmad regarding Palestinian aid surely ought to raise doubts about this nature of leadership.

Respectfully, it’s akin to receiving counsel from an elderly uncle who casually suggests solutions with a nonchalant “ever considered this?”. However, this particular uncle tiptoes around significant gaps in Islamic knowledge, unsure of his footing.

When asked about whether Ahmadis ought to boycott Israeli products, he replied with, “You can if you feel comfortable, there is no harm in it.” Another masterclass in ambiguity.

Many Ahmadis anticipate Masroor’s perpetual response to queries about Palestine, attributing it to the disunity among Muslim nations and claims that Palestinians aren’t adhering to “true Islam.” The irony of the latter is not lost. In numerous sermons, Masroor has urged Ahmadis to pray for Palestinian Muslims and to pray for sound leadership in Palestine. This statement appears somewhat perplexing, especially as it implies that Ahmadis consider Palestinians to be Muslim yet require distinct leadership.

In another session with “the Hazoor,” I observed a man in the gathering who mentioned his service with the United States Army. Masroor advised the man to employ the role of a medical assistant within the army so that he wouldn’t have any direct affiliation with harming others. This advice seemed somewhat humorous; why would you assist in bandaging someone up who is killing innocent people?

Regarding his role as Khalifa, the response was candidly uncertain: “I am sill in a dilemma about it today.” Confidence in his identity seems tentative. I’m sure Ahmadis will attribute this to the humble nature of the “Hazoor,” yet leaders are supposed to be brave, heroic, inspiring and defiant. No? Even a child understands this.

The Ahmadi community appears to be entirely disillusioned, residing in a realm of their own.

If you are from the Ahmadiyya cult, I urge you to question what sort of Khilfah you are following, particularly in moments of suffering and strife around the world.

While it’s true that nothing happens without the permission of Allah; the Ahmadis may explain their Khalifah’s inaction on Palestine similarly. And there is indeed a significant lack of unity and action from Sunni leaders. However, the Sunni Muslim world does not claim to have a Khilafah present today. Furthermore, khilafat is a serious religious duty, not a joke. The Ahmadis on the other hand, embody a passive elderly figure incapable of reciting Surah Al-Fatiha as a leader.

Furthermore, the circumstances of the Ahmadi Prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s death (dying on a toilet) along with his many unfulfilled prophecies such as marrying Muhammadin Begum, and his use of profanity such as ‘Haramzadah!’, all disprove his claim for prophethood. This is not the profile of a prophet.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

It’s important for me to mention, I hold no ill will towards my brothers and sisters in humanity within the Ahmadiyya faith and sincerely wish you well. The persecution of the Ahmadi community in Pakistan is deeply deplorable. Nevertheless, The Ahmadiyya community’s mantra, “Love for all, hatred for none,” echoes sentiments similar to those of today’s Christians. However, such ethereal maxims lack substance and hold little significance for truth seekers. Alhumdulillah, many truth seekers are embracing Islam in their droves. This global shift towards Islam is unmistakable, fuelled by the unwavering faith demonstrated by Palestinians during their most testing of times.

Having an ineffective leader does not define the truth of your religion, I get it. However, the lack of adherence to the declaration of faith uttered in Islam does: “There is no God but Allah, and Prophet Mohammed (saw) is His final messenger.”

If you are from the Ahmadiyya community, I invite you to Islam. Palestine has been a wake up call for so many; may it be a wake up call for you too. May Allah swt guide us all and keep us on the sirat ul mustaqeem…Ameen
