The Iron Dome has long been regarded as one of the most advanced air defence systems in the world, reputed for its ability to neutralise aerial strikes with remarkable precision. However, observers have begun to question its effectiveness as footage circulates showing numerous failures to intercept Iranian missiles.
In December, a video surfaced that showed two Iron Dome interceptor batteries discharging their interceptors despite the absence of any active attack.
Such incidents have prompted sharp criticism that the Iron Dome is not performing as effectively as widely believed.
