  • India bombed civilian areas without evidence linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam attack.
  • Observers see parallels to Israel’s Hannibal Directive.

Without presenting a shred of evidence linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam attacks, India launched strikes last night that have primarily targeted civilian areas— including mosques, deepening the suffering of innocent men, women and children.

Despite offering no credible evidence linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam incident, India justifies its actions as self-defence. The mystery surrounding what truly occurred in Kashmir, only adds to the concern. Consequently, many have raised unsettling parallels to Israel’s later-revealed Hannibal Directive based upon the evidence that has been seen.

For instance, as soon as the attack took place, a police station that is 6 kilometres away from the attack, in a space of 10 minutes, was able to issue an FIR. The report also details foreign involvement.

Though no hostages were involved, the fog surrounding the incident has led international observers to suggest that India may have sacrificed its own citizens in a calculated bid to strike Pakistan — all while banking on impunity under the watchful but silent eye of the international community.

Like Israel, India now positions itself as judge, jury, and executioner, striking civilian infrastructure and innocent lives under the baseless pretext of “terrorism” and “self-defence”.

India appears to be adopting Israel’s playbook: bypassing international law, launching extrajudicial attacks, and normalising state violence across borders.

What we are witnessing is the rise of a vigilante state — one that, like Israel, elevates itself above global norms, embracing fascistic tendencies.
