Israeli aircraft reportedly launched 15 missiles simultaneously, demolishing six buildings. Israeli reports suggest that Nasrallah, age 64, had been residing on the 14th underground floor of the bombed structure.

In a statement on X, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee announced that Nasrallah was “liquidated.”

Adraee said that the airstrike was executed based on “accurate intelligence from the military’s intelligence agency.” While the IDF stressed it had been a “precise” strike, figures from Lebanon’s health ministry confirmed at least six other people were killed and 91 were wounded.

He further noted that the operation also led to the killing of Ali Karki, the commander of Hezbollah’s southern front, along with other high-ranking Hezbollah officials.

Hezbollah itself is yet to issue a statement of confirmation.

Iran has said that it is in constant contact with Hezbollah to determine its “next step.” It has been reported that the country’s Supreme Leader was transferred to a secure location due to the latest attack.
