According to Israeli officials, 695 IDF soldiers have been killed since October 7th. Of these fatalities, 332 occurred during ground battles conducted within Gaza.

Hezbollah presents a starkly different account, asserting that over 2,000 individuals have been killed and injured.

On Friday, the Israeli regime revealed the number of casualties and injuries among its forces since the start of their genocidal campaign on October 7.

According to the latest figures from the Israeli army’s official website, a total of 695 soldiers have been reported killed. Of these fatalities, 332 occurred during ground battles conducted within Gaza.

The Israeli military reported that 4,357 soldiers have been injured throughout their campaign since October 7th. Specifically, 2,232 of these injuries were sustained during the intense ground operations in Gaza. The condition of the injured soldiers are as follows: 21 soldiers currently in serious condition, 169 in moderate condition, and 3 in mild condition.

However, Al-Manar, a news outlet operated by Hezbollah, has reported significantly different figures. On August 3rd, they stated that over 2,000 IDF soldiers have been killed and injured. Additionally, they noted that these casualties occurred primarily along the northern border of the region.

The Israeli offensive has led to more than 40,200 Palestinian fatalities, predominantly women and children, and over 93,000 injuries, according to local health authorities. The persistent blockade of Gaza has precipitated dire shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies, rendering much of the region devastated.

Israel is now facing allegations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, which has mandated a cessation of military operations in the southern city of Rafah. This area, which had become a refuge for over one million Palestinians, was invaded on May 6.
